Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the smoc.cloud marketing website operated by CEHG. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern use of the smoc.cloud operational platform, which is provided under a separate written agreement.
1. The website and its purpose
This website is published by CEHG, 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. It describes the smoc.cloud smart metering operations platform and allows you to request a demonstration or contact our sales team.
Screens, dashboards, telemetry values, KPI figures and estate data shown on this site are illustrative representations of the product interface. They are not live customer data and must not be relied on as performance figures for any specific deployment.
2. Permitted use
- You may view, download and print pages of this site for your own internal evaluation and procurement purposes.
- You may not scrape, harvest, mirror or systematically extract content, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems, probe or test its security, or introduce malicious code.
- You may not use the site to send unlawful, misleading or abusive content, or to submit another person’s details without their authority.
- Automated access, including AI crawling for model training, requires our prior written permission.
3. Enquiries and information you submit
When you submit a demo or sales enquiry you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it on behalf of the organisation named. We handle that information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Submitting an enquiry does not create any contract, licence or obligation on either party. Any engagement follows separate written agreement.
4. Estimates, calculators and forward-looking statements
The ROI estimator and any savings, truck-roll or efficiency figures on this site are indicative models based on the assumptions you enter or that we state. They are illustrative only, do not constitute advice or a commercial commitment, and must not be relied on as a forecast of results in your own estate.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, design, graphics, diagrams, interface illustrations, logos and the smoc.cloud and CEHG names and marks — is owned by CEHG or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. No licence is granted other than the permitted use described above.
Third-party names such as DLMS/COSEM, CIM, MultiSpeak and vendor product names are the property of their respective owners and are used for descriptive interoperability purposes only.
6. Availability and third-party links
We aim to keep the site available but may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of any third-party site we link to.
7. Liability
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or anticipated savings arising from use of this site or reliance on its content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes, law and jurisdiction
We may update these terms; the version published here applies, last updated 21 September 2026.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
